voodoo/hoodoo...help me out please

hey,
for about three days my nan has been saying shes 'seeing' things:cockroaches covering her wardrobe,a little girl,two women one short one tall,also about 10/20 boys n girls but the seperate themselves boys n girls...also she says she talks to these people they dont talk back but after a while they stick there tongues out and its like a snakes toungue.she says they come through the crack in the door never anywhere else?she thinks a caribbean man she knows,who knew my grandad put a voodoo curse on her...as i have no idea i wondered if somebody could help me out,please.everyone thinks shes mad but she talks to me sain on the phone an she gets on with everyday things?

To start with, I just want to add that there may be no such thing as "Voodoo".

I believe that Hoodoo is an actual form of Goetia, and that Vodun is it's relatively more positive counterpart.



Anyway; the following book has many methods to protect oneself against such things.






That may be your best bet, as in these days and times it would be difficult to find a chaste Shaman who walks the Straight Path and can actually help you.

But if you can, even better.

Sadly, it's not uncommon for seniors to start experiencing dimentia. The line that separates dreams from reality in our minds starts to break down for some.

There might be meds that can help. She really should seek medical help.

If she is having these disturbing dreams, one method to stop them is to have her sleep with a sharp object under her pillow. Not something that can hurt her of course...a pair of nailclippers, a small pair of scissors, wrap it in fabric first then put under her pillow.

She can also try a cleansing....actually clean her house, open windows and burn incense to rid the home of any negative vibes.

Since she feels they are coming thru the crack of the door, a simple chalk cross or "x" on that door can also help.

Now I cannot guarantee any of these things will work, but if she truly believes she is cursed...then she will probably believe in these anti curse measures. Good luck and if all else fails, she truly may need medical attention.

So, in other words, please be careful! After the demons leave your 'nan' they will be looking for a new place to stay.

thanks for all you advice, i told her a few of the methods like the cleansing of the house and i think she tried it, the things have stopped happening but according to her doctors thats because they stop the meds she was on...but im not so sure.
i suppose i dont know what happened...she done the cleansing, i prayed which ive never done an the docs stopped her med so... who knows!


someone said something about theres no voodoo...but i thought in haiti it was pronouce a religion or im i muddle hehe ??

It seems that "Voodoo" is a term derived from the blending of Vodun and Hoodoo, which are two seperate yet similiar practices.

That's what I mean when I say there's no such thing as "Voodoo".

Though I could be mistaken.

Voodoo is a bastard form of vodun as spoken by hatians.. i know people that came from haiti, and voodoo is alive and well there, though many voodoo practitioners are also devote christians (it seems only white euro/american christians have serious issues with ritualistic practices.. thought i still say the catholic mass is as much of an occult ritual as anything)

I agree with this completely, Voodoo is very real to people that believe in it. She could probably benefit from most of the remedies posted. The people blaming Meds are just looking for an easy way out. Ritual practices are very common to humans trying to get something or get rid of something. It does work, believe it or not.
