actually this is a good idea and we advised that this be the case, and this is the reason why. due to global warming, and the weather that it will
cause, large massess of people will have to have some new places developed. in short the current infrastructure that you are now witnessing will not
be able to support large movements of people, and it would be better if lands "interior" to be developed. Katrina was just the beginning, we are
looking at coastal areas, which are most populated, becoming destbilized by water and storms and earthquakes. the country is way behind in this, but
at least it is possibly starting. or due you want to have loads of grasslands with nothing on them when the west coast goes? there is only so much
land and why should the federal government own so
much of it. when, not if, the new madrid goes, and it will, where will all those survivors go? wouldn't it be better to have something up and
ready, better yet, wouldn't it be better if you got whole populations to move to new jobs before that happened? thanks linni
