The US Government is doing plenty to help the victims of hurricane Katrina as well as the victims of the other hurricanes. The initial response to
this disaster, by all levels of Government--Federal, State, and Local, was a disgrace. But the federal Government has done a tremendous amount to help
these people out.
And if you think that Chavez cares more about American citizens than our own government does, that is laughable. This is nothing more than a token
gesture by Chavez to try to make Bush look bad, not because he cares about the needs of Americans.
