UN HQ targeted again in Bagdad!

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A suicide bombing Monday near the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad left an Iraqi security guard and the bomber dead, a U.S. military spokesman said. It was the second bombing in two months to target the U.N. headquarters in the Iraqi capital.

"A bomb went off from inside of a car, killing two individuals -- one being the bomber," said Capt. Sean Kirley, a U.S. Army spokesman, of the explosion that took place at a checkpoint on the perimeter of the U.N. compound.

"No damage was done to the U.N. building. No coalition forces were killed or injured that we know of, at this point," he said.

It really seems that UN is the most hated by Iraqis after all..

As it was UN that had sanctioned the use of violence against Iraq.. back in 1990/91.. when the all troubles started..

And now.. bitter Iraqis are trying to get pay back..

Sadly they ended up blowing up just Iraqis..

It is really the corrupt UN officials that must die.. not the Iraqis or the basic US troopers..

Hit the UN, hit the NWO.

I dunno about hitting the U.N. The Iraqi's need the UN right now, as America needs the UN to dig them out of the great big hole they have in Iraq.

I don't really think that the Iraqis hate the UN, trully I don't think they wanted that, just look at the last strike, more iraqis have been killed than UN personnel.

It's terrorism, the only goal of terrorism is to "brouiller les cartes".

I do think that average 'Iraqian' knows, that there was much bad talk about Iraqis.. and their supposed WMD:s at UN.

And Iraqis know.. that the WMD story was a lie.

And they are mad to the UN for 'doing this to them'.

And also they are mad at the Iraqis that help / protect UN.

I don't understand what you mean, until UN was not supporting the US/UK intervention in Iraq they don't have any reason to hate it.

In 1990/91 there was a covert US plan to force Iraq invade Kuwait.. and then the UN said that the Iraqis are bad.

And gave US lead coalition 'the green light' to kill em all.

There were many votes in UN to lift or ease the sanctions.. but nothing came out of those.

UN also did nothing about US / UK criminal no-fly zones.

Iraqis and people of the planet earth generally see the UN only as US puppet. (which it is.. and when it doesnt do the things US way, it is generally totally powerless..)

Have to agree its powerless - how about the Korea situation -

The US fleet had sailed in advance of the UM declaration - denied cos the Soviets boycotted the vote.

For all the NWO beliefs - can anyone really consider the UN a threat ?.

The Iraqis know that if the UN gets ahold in their country,that the UN will bring it's buddies along.

Buncha suits who will demand that they lie down and get exploited in order to get the resources they need to rebuild,they do not want to enter into these contracts that come along with the UN.
There will be no real recovery for some years because the greedy boys will force them to pay up or lose their country anyway.
Iraq wants to belong to itself,not the exploiters.
