sounds like someting of an information age version of War of the Worlds. a well done hoax can cause panic just as easily today as it could in the 1930s.

Indians are very superstitious people I have read, is this an example of it?

Not that I should talk, I believe in some strange things too.

I don't think it's just Indians that are taken in by fake photos. a lot of people don't seem to realize exactly how easy it is to manipulate images. anybody remember this guy from 2 years ago?

I'll bet more than a few of you got this in their inboxes around 9/11. did you know anyone who thought it was real? I sure did. for better or worse, images are not necessarily proof, now more than ever.

You've got that right! There are foolish people in this world that love getting their jollies off by duping other folks.

The 'ghostly' girl looks totally fake to me. I've actually seen a similar photo circulating the internet. It's really unfortunate that some children stopped attending school because of something so stupid.

I find amusement with sadness in my heart, (how else can one deal better with pain than to laugh at oneself?) at the fact that we
are all trying to find enlightenment to achieve our awakenings as each one of us can and will if we work as equals that are evolve enough to accept personality as character models that inspire relativity and perspective. It is still unclear as to why human beings stray so far from their own truths. I know a million and one reasons and could type them out if I had the time, it's just that sometimes I see things even here on some threads, that are weak
excuses or ends to a means proffered by someone losing a syntax construction race. In other words, how does justifying to eachother whether or not a possible ghost picture is authentic accomplishes conspiratorial evidences. I know it is and can be light-hearted fun, honest interst in the occult or paranormal or it
is a point venture for the meeting of minds. I just query because sometimes the inanity of the phrases people exchange not only lack heart, interest and/or sincerity, but I notice such (all cyberspace sites of personal communicae seem to fall prey to this)
lack of interest and communication in that two people can be arguing yet, neither party has asked the root cause or inspirations of the other and/or their lack of respect for each other leads to an aggressive stance. This is why online I am and that's it. Feelings are for love in the world.
