excuse me marge? we have not been sold to anyone, infact we are actually be stolen from because our current taxation system is regressive and corrupt, it's the sole reason for outsourcing not some government agenda, the feds are to damn greedy and they halt progression. the only way for companies to compete is to go overseas where the tax laws are more lax this is called 'outsourcing' our industry and innovation, every company has a right to compete. with fair tax american industry would be brought back, who elects the lawmakers? who elects the people to represent us? we do, save the blame game as it is only regressive and not needed, we control our destiny nobody else, thats how this country has always been unfortunatly the federal governement wants to dissolve our mental forititude and resolution and make us think we have no control of th situation, when infact we have total control.

Ape, you are forgetting the unConstitutional outcome of the 2000 election and the stealing of the 2004 election. With Bush's approval somewhere around 30% or less, that's hardly the majority of the people. Proof that the People are not in charge any more.

You know why the election of 2000 went to the Supreme Court? Because Democrats refused to accept the certified election results of Florida.

The same thing may happen in 2006. Miss USA Pelosi may disregard certified election results in Florida and swear in the Democrat loser.

Back in the pre-Reagan days, American companies made profits that were distributed among Americans.

They used their profits to build more factories, or build into other businesses. The profits stayed in America.

well then you obviously are not an average american marge because I infact am, see the problem I have with people like you marge is you harp on about stuff with no solution to fix it and just want to blame the corporations. I am an average american, I make over 60k a year and im only 23 and do just fine through hard work, plenty of opportunity in this country which is why comments like yours should be disregarded at all cost.

income taxation and bad fiscal responsibility on the side of the GOp which disgusted me is the sole cause for our current situation, yes jobs are being outsourced but if it was as bad as you claim marge we would be in a worse situation what we are in now, companies like verizon and at&t and time warner just to start are GREAT jobs which are a plenty in the US, especially verizon in the fiber optic side of the house.

That is the most ignorant thing I have read about the mid-east issues in a long time. First of all Clinton got many of his views about Iraq from the previous administration.

More importantly though explain to me how in the world you come to the conclusion that if Clinton had invaded Iraq it would have stopped 9/11 from happening? You do realize that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, right?

Of course the man is not responsible for any of his own failings- HIS OPPOSITION MADE HIM DO IT!

You're right, we should just think everyone is a terrorist like Bush and Cheney did, and arrest ANYONE who looks slightly off and send them off to camps. Do you have any idea how many Americans have been flagged for the slightest thing? If we went with this maximum security police level you advocate, everyone would be in jail.

All criminals are the same, they look for the same thing, should we go into ful martial law to stop any speeders or shoplifters or potential thug?
