What is the difference between a traditional "needle in the arm" shot, and some kind of intranasal shot? At my National Guard drill this weekend, they were offering shots, but they were intranasal. Not sure if something was sprayed, or if a needle went up the nose...I steered clear of the shot.

Bull, Jim.
I have to be in close proximity to filthy little disease carriers (humans) at work, and I haven't caught the flu in decades. Right now, the common cold is dragging everyone down, and I am walking through the mine field unscathed.
The secret? Exercise, eat good, balanced meals, drink spring water, take good vitamins, and at the beginning of the cold/flu season, take Echinacea.
Every other year or so, I will go out of my way to catch a cold. Why? Because I read that people who catch colds are less likely to get cancer. I don't know if that is faulty deduction on someone's part, but I figure it doesn't hurt.
Now that I've said this, Jim, watch me get the flu this year!
