Russian minister calls Natwar on Iran issue

India and Russia call up on a meeting to keep iran away from UNSC, it was with Natwar and this was one of the quoted. ''During Natwar Singh's visit to Russia last month, India called for resolving the Iranian nuclear issue within the framework of the IAEA in order to avert Tehran's referral to the UN Security Council.

"India would wish to avoid Iran's reference to the Security Council. The matter should be amicably resolved in the framework of the IAEA," Natwar Singh had told Iranian vice president Pervez Dawoodi on the sidelines of a summit of the Shanghahi Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Moscow. ''
