Some cool new Iranian made warships.

I'll go and start off by posting some ships from the past 2 years till now, I;m sure alot of people never seen other warships we had so i'm sure you guys wont mind if I post. Be glad to hear your comments on them....


Iranian copy of alvand frigate which also is filled with C-802 anti ship missiles.

This one is one of the biggest we have and its very deadly.

This is the kangan9vx which is filled with cruise missiles.

This one is kharg which also can carry on helos with it.

Another frigate i never seen this before so its probably new.

Iran launches submarine in 5 years

Tehran, Jan 12 - Iran to launch maden large submarine by 2010, after the Islamic state unveiled its midjet submarine a few months ago.

Navy Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army Admiral Abbas Mohtaj said the Islamic Republic of Iran has started study over the project in 1990, Navy Commander Admiral Abbas Mohtaj said Wednesday.

"Although we don't have much experience in this field, but our swift progress has astonished countries which have more than half a century of experience.", Mohtaj said.

He said Iran is compeleting first home-made destroyer dubbed Mowj (waves), expecting to launch the frigate next year.

"This destroyer which is built in accordance with the world's latest standards have great defensive capabilities such as fighting threats from surface, submarine, and air attacks," he added.

LOL thanks i always thought it would be annoying but it just cathes more attention so which one did you like> is it impressive? theres so much more pictures of our navy but they are very hard to get....

There has been no reports on it yet but the worst thing you can do is go to global security which is full of crapp and doesnt even have any of our new subs in there or our other war ships....

The Kangan9vx, it would be useful for a surprise attack on a large port city. Sail in looking like a cargo ship or oil tanker and then launching cruise missiles.

with 40% of the Iranian people living below the poverty line (according to the CIA factbook), I am curious whether Iran might better spend their resources on making the lives of the average Iranian better?

And, as far as Israel goes, I am wondering how a Muslim nation can seek to destroy a people who also recognize and worship the SAME God.....oh certainly, Allah is spelled differently than Yaweh but they are the same God? I thought that Islam was a religion of peace? How is that they can seek to destroy an entire people? Wouldn't peaceful co-existence be better? Perhaps, with time, Islam will convert the Jews? The Kangan and Kharg look very much like tankers or fleet supply vessels... Have you got a link or any other information on them that would support the cruise missile claim?
Also, what ASW capabilities do the patrol boats have?

Interesting design, putting an X turret behind the helo deck. The HMAS Adelaide has its 76mm aaa gun on the roof behind the stack with the helo deck at the extreme aft. You know, standard NATO/western design.

I dunno, the shape of the bows and the lack of a major forward turret or launcher (well, I can't see one) makes me think Corvette more than frigate. This thing really looks like the Whyalla-built town-class ASW escorts from WW2. Well, to me it does.

thanks bro but it was all done by my man JAK mabey i can try and switch it into Shafagh with IRIAF colours or do it with F-4. I'll try and get more pics.

The kangan and Kharg were both named on 2 islands that are near the capsion sea regoin and in there theirs a whole bunch of missile silos, i'll get the pic and the information A.S.A.P. The patrol boats would most likely use Kosar missile or Noor which all have a 360 km range....

This one is also a a patrol boat designed to hit submarines...
