Do you support electronic voting? Do you think it can be used for fraud? Are you willing to engage a little bit of "minimalistic activism"?

Check out this link and come back:
www.sec.state.ri.us...

If I knew about this in advance I would've set up a group of people as a "vendor" ... using the paper and pencil system. But it's a bit late to get in as a vendor and make a point.

But something can still be done:

1) It's open to the public. Someone can go there and actaully see what's featured and report back. If they're any web-based systems I'm going to cry.

2) An open letter can be written Secretary of State Matthew A. Brown along with a brief proposal highlighting dangers to electronic voting and better alternatives, signed by his constituents. This can be written as a group at ATS.

IF YOU READ ATS and live in RI, don't just SIT THERE and watch these kind of things PASS YOU BY. Think upon this:

"Those who cast the ballots decide nothing; those who count the ballots decide everything."

 Josef Stalin (1879-1953)

God Bless. U2U me or email if you care about voting rights at all and live in RI. This'll be "minimalistic activism". I swear to god you won't have to leave your chair.

Also I inquired about the dress code and any, if, bans on note taking (ala Diebold). There is no dress code and anyone can take notes.
