When the American founders of Al Qaeda: Charlie Wilson,John Murtha,Gust Avrakotos,Charlie Schnabel freely admit in George Criles book "Charlie Wilsons War" that their people did 9/11, why do we insist on ignoring that fact?
During the 80's American black ops fought three covert wars and financed them with drugs. They financed the contras against the democratically elected Sandanistas, Financed the Iran/Iraq war- both sides. According to Gust Avrakotos " we financed iran and iraq because we didn't want a winner, the important thing was that they kept fighting and killing each other". And we financed Afghan muj against Russia.
AL QUEDA -[THE DATABASE] IS THE NAMES OF ALL THOSE CONNECTED TO THOSE THREE EFFORTS.
In Afghan america enlisted the help of covert operators from: Egypt,Israel,Pakistan,Britain,Canada,Jordan,Saudi Arabia,Iraq,Iran,India,China, and a few others.
In Iran/Iraq war america enlisted all those as well as others.
In El Salvador and Nicaragua all those participated but weren't happy about it, but Mexico,Panama and some smaller states were brought in.
In all, America has AL QAEDA assets in almost 60 countries.
These very same black ops boys also managed to acquire suitcase nukes that they use for blackmail. they WERE useless because the Russians were careful to booby=trap them. BUT the hard drive on how to by-pass the booby traps was stolen and copied and placed behind a COPY machine from Los Alamos. Inside job big time.

What?...LOL

Actualy this is a great post

I look fwd to reading the replies to this one. Especialy from the pro-war, pro-bush crowd.

I can't say for sure that everything you said is right on the money, but it's pretty darn close. If only people could look at this subjectively and not emotionaly and then maybe they would see the real truth.
Time to take your country back before it's really too late.

Of course some links would be helpful in backing up some of your claims.
Now, the United States funded the Muhajadeen in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets, not to attack America. After the Soviets pulled out we did not continue to fund them, It was only after Desert Storm that some fractions of the former Muhajadeen members turned against the US for interfering in the Middle East, and for having troops and close ties with the Saudis.

Sorry, but your going to have to try harder than that to make people believe BS.

Highly recommended for reading.

Along with Russia, the UK, etc., etc., etc., bodrul.

And in keeping this within proper historical context, when was the Muhajadeen created and backed by the US/CIA?
When did Osama Bin Laden become the head of the Muhajadeen?
When did Osama Bin Laden create Al-Qaeda, The Base?
When did Osama Bin Laden declare war on the US via his fatwah?

The problem here is that it is so simple to not keep facts and factoids within their proper historical context.

for the most dangrous terrorist group ( most of the blame does fall on the US )
they trained and gave money to extremists
because it suited their intrests

now i am not saying other countries havent had their fair share (just not as much as the US)
and they still do in countries which they dont like or have an agenda with.
yet they critisize other countries when they are as bad.

the US also had plenty of chances to netrulize al-qauda
but their foreign policy was ***** so they just waked away or turned a blind eye.

an intresting artical

BBC Four: What were the reactions of the Americans you interviewed on looking back on the 1980s and 90s?
MB: Some of them regret the actions that have not taken place since the end of Soviet-Afghan War. They think further action should have been taken. The Clinton administration withdrew and effectively put on a blindfold between 1991 and 1998. As Robert McFarlane says in the film: "To ignore South Asia was a historic error. Not to leave enough people around from the CIA or the State Department to keep us informed about what was going on during the Clinton years was an appalling failure... It's clearly evident that by end of 1996 and early 1997 that al-Qaeda was putting down roots there that this would represent to us and to others a real threat."

Abdul Haq is the one man who said, "I won't be your puppet but you actually need to join with us to make this work, otherwise the US policy is going to backfire in the longer term". Many former officials tried to persuade people to act before the horrific events of 9/11 - but the CIA made it clear that it had no intention of doing so. There was no interest. But to make matters worse, after 9/11 they played a double game. The Americans actually went on record saying that Abdul Haq was one of the chosen people they were going to back in their efforts to topple the Taleban.

yer right we should have join the Afghan allies and take on the Taliban and Al Qaida long time ago but we just ignored it, as Clinton sees the terrorists as just an annoyance.

Great post.

"Al-Qaida,(sic) literally 'the database,' was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians," admits former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, whose Foreign Office portfolio included control of British Intelligence Agency MI-6 and the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), in a column published by the UK Guardian newspaper.

All the information is out there if only people were to look, instead of believe some second rate James Bond storyline concocted by liars to protect their own backs.

en.wikipedia.org...

Although "al-Qaeda" is the name of the organization used in popular culture, the organization rarely uses the name to refer to itself. In formal communications Bin Laden has called the organization the International Front for Jihad against the Jews and Crusaders. Indeed the use of the name "al-Qaeda" dates from early 2001, when the American government decided to prosecute Bin Laden in his absence and had to use anti-Mafia laws that required the existence of a named criminal organisation. Bin Laden himself said in 2001, "We used to call the training camp al-Qaeda ["the base"]. And the name stayed." [2].

Toward the end of the Soviet occupation, some Mujahidin wanted to expand their operations to include Islamist struggles in other parts of the world. A number of overlapping and interrelated organizations were formed to further those aspirations.[

One of these was the organization that would eventually be called al-Qaeda, which was formed by Osama bin Laden in 1988. Bin Laden wished to extend the conflict to nonmilitary operations in other parts of the world; Azzam, in contrast, wanted to remain focused on military campaigns. After Azzam was assassinated in 1989, the MAK split, with a significant number joining bin Laden's organization.

Since other parts of the world were often not in such open warfare as Afghanistan under the Soviet occupation, the move from MAK to al-Qaeda involved more training in terrorist tactics. Other organizations were formed, including others by Osama bin Laden, to carry out different types of terrorism in different countries.

Al Qaida was Osama's creation not by the CIA. also he prefers to do things himself independently of others. Al Qaida created in 1988. dats pretty much the end of the Soviet Afghan war and now they decided to spread their Jihad to rest of the world because they felt if they can defeat a superpower why not the other one and make an Islamic power over the two former superpowers if they see as fit.

As a side point. I don't agree with using Wikipedia as a definitive source, as it is updated by the users. The public at large. IMO not the best place to go looking for absolute fact.
