provided food by the government untill they raise there financial standing? If the foodstamps are not needed then fine, cut them. But they will
always be needed, for there will always be a hungry person.
or, their national guard or reserve unit is deployed to Iraq.....
somewhere along the line I got the feeling that those being called to active duty from these units aren't getting paid nearly as much as they were on
their regular jobs. and well, I also believe that their are many military personal whose families are relying on food stamps???
the more well paying jobs are replaced by low wage jobs, the more public assistance programs will be needed...there is no way around it, or is there
any "untill they raise there financial standing", since if they do manage to make the shift into a well paying job, well, there will still be a need
in our society for the work of that low paying one that someone will have to step in and fill. in order to truely reduce the need for these programs
the cost of living must go down, lower prices, and the lower end of the wage scale must come up to meet that need.
