Congress not being stupid for once?

Wow, it looks like some people in the senate actually had the sense to overturn the FCC thing. The Democrats, Republicans, the ACLU, NRA, and Christian Coalition all working together?? Maybe it really is the end of the world.

At least we know where the soft money and bribes came from to get all those senators to get of their asses and do something.

Talk radio has shown itself to be a magnificent forum at local, regional, and national levels.

In a nation dedicated to individual freedom (and freedom of speech), any attempt to control media outlets is wrong -- media outlets that prove themselves to be effective are effective because people make them so.

Personally....I suspect that it is like the old "Potomac Shuffle." Probably will get a veto this go around but a few minor changes will make it pass.
