hey, has anyone taken a look at the source code when these words pop up?

Just a reminder, folks: RANT posted a while ago asking if anyone had noticed the formatting anomalies that are popping up every now and then, and no one seems to have explored that. It happened to me when I opened a thread just recently. Maybe next time it happens to you, take a good look and a screencap and see if you can spot anything that's revealed by the stretching of the page. Could be nothing, could be something. Just a thought...

And beware of FSME's that pretend to know more than they do in regards to moderator mischief... If this was a hack or other unsanctioned activity, it would be over by now already..........

and to the grey lettering , i havent seen anything in an hour or so either.... of course ive just been in this thread so who knows where else its popping up.. i've only seen it in here and i caught 'brother' in the witd intro thread.

if this is moderator mischief, they are sick and twisted people. But they wouldn't use whispers in a prank cause of the chaos that happened. You would of loved in then WCIP, everyone was paranoid

Taking into account what Infinite has siad about the tenderness of the Whispers issue, it is unlikely to be a mod prank or game. Perhaps it was simply a hack which has now been defeated, as I have not noticed anything in a while.

Yeah, kinda sorry I missed it. Truth-be-told I'm still a relative n00b, or at least n00bish. I did go through the relevant thread(s) a while back though to see what all the fuss was about.

Are you sure? Didn't I see someone post a while back saying they'd seen a "witd" somewhere? Or was that a deliberate Red Herring?

last time i saw something was about 20mins ago in this thread and one in ATSNN. During the whispers incident, it just stopped...just like this has now. But who knows, its probably a scripit kiddie at the end of the day
