In science, it is proven that energy can be created nor destroyed.
It's also been proven, when you die, your energy leaves your body, and goes up. This energy, some scientists say could very well be your "soul", proveing an afterlife, and even a "God".

Just letting everyone know.

Do you have a source of this information? I've never heard of it.

Reincarnation is the evolution of energy or living beings. Science has proven that energy never dies, it only changes form, moves or relocates. Science has also proven that everything "evolves" into something better. That could mean that even our human energy will evolve into something better ( a more evolved human in a new life) as well as transforming. Energy has intelligence... it obviously was intelligent enough to survive and evolve so why would reincarnation be impossible?

Energy only changes form, and our energy could be our soul.

I also learned this in my Biology class.

Sorry, but I don't think a site for 'advice' is really a reliable source. It's all opinion. Energy comes from other things, it is not produced directly by our bodies, we need things like food to keep it going and give it more energy. When you die you don't intake any more energy or things to convert into energy so your body no longer makes it. That's where it goes.

No.. Energy cant be created or destroyd. Meaning our bodies don't produce it. When we die, it leaves us.

Science proves this, and now a days, it's hard to argue with science.

I think the question we want an answer to is, what science?
Your statement may or may not be true.
Linking to an advice column doesn't prove anything. I can link to a few sites that say the world is flat, but we all know it isn't true.

Maybe you can find something on an actual science website?
Here is a few you can brows if you like.

Here is an article that talks about a study that was done and referrernces medical doctors

news.telegraph.co.uk...

I also saw tere is a DVD called "The Evidence for Heaven" which claims there was a 25 year long scientific study done. You can read about the DVD here and I copied the description below.

www.near-death.com...

"Listen to the testimony of many highly respected medical doctors, physicists, Biblical scholars and scientists from the late 17th Century until today, who have been working to prove that immortality is indeed a reality. Discover the results of several scientific studies including one 25-year project that concluded, "For the first time in 8,000 years of recorded history, it can now be said with certainty that our mind, memory, and personality and soul will survive physical death."

There is also a book that looks interesting called "The Afterlife Expieriments"

We don't create it, we convert it. Once we die there is no more intake of substances to convert to energy (i.e. sugars). You're contradicting yourself because you say we just have this energy inside our bodies and when we die it has to go somewhere. That would be assuming the body does create it's own energy and have its own supply. The body dies and it is not intaking anything to keep it running so there is no 'new' energy coming in and there is no energy that was in the body that has nowhere to go. The last of it is used in decomposition and what not.

Not another one.

It is not proven that energy leaves your body when we die, nor does it go the arbitrary direction "up." Stop lying. The soul does not prove an afterlife. Energy is not synonymous with the soul. Energy can be created and destroyed, just not while it is in use (when the universe was first formed, energy was formed or channeled into this universe (Membrane)). As humans, we only have the capacity to change its form. That may never change in my lifetime, but everything must come from somewhere. Thus, energy is creatable. It might be assumed that at some point energy will be destroyed, but probably not until this universe ends. Why would science deal with a problem that won't affect anyone for over a million generations? That's a waste of money, time, and other resources.

And if you want a God discussion, go to the Religious conspiracy boards. God, as with the soul, would require no direct relationship to energy to exist. That is just a way that religious leaders make people feel safe when they go to sleep at night. If you actually grabbed a hold of some real science, you might find that "God" favors science, evolution, mutation, and more. Since you don't know what you're talking about, you should just go on telling people that everything is made of magic.

I have felt the 'energy' that a spirit can muster, and it is amazingly powerful.....aint got a scoobie wtf it is, but I do believe we all know on some level.

Hasnt there been some evidence of the body losing weight at the moment of death - my old biology teacher told me that there was??

Around 1900 a physician named Dr. Macdougall conducted such an experiment. He would place dying patients upon a scale in order to measure the weight of the human soul. According to Macdougall every time this was done the body weighed exactly 21 grams less. He also tested this on 15 dogs and allegedly there was no weight difference upon death.

Although the experiments were performed, the scales used did not have accuracy of 21 grams. The accuracy of the scales was more like several ounces, and only a few experiments were performed. The "21 grams" is well within the standard deviation of this measurement. In other words, nothing was proven.

No, that hasn't been proven. Nor does science even suggest such a thing. The energy in your body converts to worm and bacterial energy on death.

First of all nothing has been proven by science.

Secondly are you suggesting that the soul actually has a physical manifestation in the form of mass, in other words physical matter???

Science certainly has not confirmed the existence of the soul. Science is only applicable to things that are observable. To equate the energy animating the physical material of our bodies is a gross simplification. If this were the case every plant and animal, down to the microscopic level, would have a soul proportionate to its physical size. When we burn firewood are we releasing the tree's soul? What about coal? Or petrochemicals? What about the vast kinetic energy of an ocean? This is just psychophysical dualism and while such concepts dominate Western thinking, they're as mythological as fairies and elves. Mind is minding.

Not so. It doesn't prove there is a God or an afterlife. How would it?

My first approach would be a meter to measure full band of electromagnet activity in the area of someone who passes.

If we are nothing but a machine of nature I wonder why I have emotions?
Plus maybe the beauty of life is have the answer hidden if we knew of no soul or afterlife or if we could confirm it how would this change life. I can only think a negative change.

Just a thought...
Anyone care to exaplin why the brain has a pineal gland?
Also why the brain produces '___' on brith/dreams and death?
