An international hunt is on to find a potential flying bomba stolen Boeing 727which led to British Airways canceling all flights to Saudi Arabia in early August.

Rest Of Story

Has anyone heard about this? Is this true? Because up until today, I hadn't heard a thing.

Well, heres what I think -

Given the current level of security regarding terrorism, if this plane DID manage to blow something up, you could bet your bottom dollar that someone high up already knew........I don't think that given the alertness of the current World Superpowers, an incident involving a plane similar to 9/11 would be able to go ahead without "clearance". But I could be wrong, I don't really know how good our governments' security is

this story is completely true. There has been no media coverage of it becuase of the panic may cause. Aplane ahs been missing for a little while. Pretty worrying stuff. I found out because a friend of a friend worked at some national newspaper (cant remember which) and she told my friend.

The article is a little confusing ... did it go missing from Angola? Is that where it was originally stolen from?

That doesn't sound to good and people were saying something is going to happen,if they let it get stolen i don't hold out much luck of them stopping it hitting its target..Thats if their is a target..?

1st, how easy is it to hide a plane of that size. To me it would be easy, all you need to a friend with a runway and large hanger.

2nd, the reason you've not heard much from the media is because someone else is pulling there strings by telling them not to report it.

3rd, what's the most likely target? It would (should) never get anywhere near our airspace without being picked up.

I would assume the target (if it was the US) would probably be somewhere along the southern coastline. It couldn't really venture any closer w/out being picked up pretty quick.

How can they just lose an airplane? I think they should have some automatic security system on them airliners incase someone stole them. Like.. it could trigger some small explosives that would blow the engines off the plane

Interesting contrast in the angles taken to report this story. One states the news plainly, as though there is a genunie mystery and the other screams conspiracy. Are facts being left out of the Washington Post article on purpose? The contradictions of the facts between the two is also interesting.

Peace,

Or...maybe it was just hijacked for passage, and then crashed in a pretty remote area??? Too many unknowns here to panick....

Just how the hell does a Boeing 727 go missing?! You'd think someone would notice

I havent heard anything about it, but I think if it is true that we probably know about it high up in the governmental chain of command. Think about it, we knew about 9/11 ahead of time and yet we still did nothing about it. We probably have some guy up in the White House who is conspiring against the U.S. It wouldnt be all that hard, just get some guy that has some good press connections to try and pretend to ease America about something that he probably ended up starting. This, if it is true, was probably started by some Anti-American that is either part of the Government, or has alot of connections in the Government.

I too found that quite interesting. In my article the company denies the guy works for them, in Banshee's they say he does.
I read the Washington Post article and afterwards felt as if they are trying to stop a nation from panicking .. perhaps because by then the story was leaked and they had to do damage control.

Selling for parts? Is it just me or does that sound ludicrous?

Ben Padilla?,isn't there a guy being held in guantanamo bay cuba for terrorist activities name Jose Padilla?,wonder if they are related?,hmmmmmm.
Probably not,but if they were you know that the guys who are supposed to be watching for this kind of thing won't admit it.
An aircraft is a big thing to lose, and it is worth a lot of money for part too,so if they can't use it for whatever, they can still make money selling it in pieces.
