What role do planets play in religion ?

So I am at a point in my life where I could go either way , believe in science (kinda scary) or believe its all in Gods control ( very comforting ). So please correct me if I am wrong, but the setting of the bible takes place on Earth?? If this is so, does every planet have its own bible ?

As long as I'm on the subject, how did cavemen even have the opportunity to abide by the bible if they couldn't read, and language was not invented yet ?
