Military Newbie here

Hello to everyone here! This is one of the best sites I've seen so far on the 'net.
Good job by The Creator on keeping this place so tight knit and growing. From what I've seen and read so far, there are a ton of interesting convos going on about virtually every aspect of life - and I find that very enjoying and enlightening!

A lil bit about me:

I'm American.

I am military.

I will gladly share stories about military experiences and also what I know of Iraq/Kosovo and other places, :0) but I won't share sensitive info, so don't ask! lol

I love reading sci-fi, fantasy, and alternate theories.

fave movies are: SW series, Indy Jones trilogy, anything Pacino or Deniro, LOTR trilogy.

fave shows ever: Seinfield, ST- Next Generation, Sopranos

music: anything with rhythm and grooves! house, trance, hiphop, drumnbass, jazz, pop, etc.

WHY I JOINED: Simply because I find it increasingly hard to hold a convo with people whose opinions aren't etched into stone from what they've seen or heard on TV! Think for yourselves and find your own truth! ....is that asking too much?

I'm not trying to come off as anonymous, but I don't want to say my MOS or rank. I will say that I work in a Command environment 90% of the time and I have access to a ton of info.

If you choose to believe me then you will understand why i won't say too much more than that.

I will say this much (but of course anyone here would know this already)...

What is told about Iraq through the media is far from reality.

I'm just another cog in the machine.

I don't see what the big deal is.

If (and that's a humungous 'if') you are indeed military, then your MOS wouldn't be a problem. Unless of course, you are scared to be called out on situations you claim 'expert', when in fact you weren't in the position to know for sure.

I've been on this board for a while. If you don't feel comfortable with sharing this information publicly, then you can IM me and I'll post my rec to the forum. If you are indeed military, I would know.
