Pat Robertson - are these his own thoughts or is he being used as a mouthpiece by the neocons. Also, what are your thoughts re: his sources, who do you think they could be?

I have no doubt that these are his own thoughts (if you want to call them that) and his own words. And I'm pretty sure the neocons would like to distance themselves from this nutjob as much as possible. He even makes them look bad!

Sounds like he's going senile and parroting what ever is fed into him.

Mr. Robertson declined to say how he had learned of the accusations he was making, saying only that he was passing along information he had received." voanews

btw, you can still get a Big Mac in Caracas and Chavez is more like a Simón Bolívar than some marxist dictator.

I wonder if those amusing 'secret sources' are just the voices in his head he so obviously gets so often too?

Yeah, I agree with you regenmacher - def more Bolivar Think the reason he's so unpopular with the present US administration is he is his own man!

Pat Robertson, hmmm scary really isnt he? And he has an audience! Is he just saying what the neocons don't dare ( yet) to say though? Or is he just an out and out er, eccentric?
