Why the Hell?.

US troops injured in hour long firefight in Khladiyha,50 miles west of Baghdad,it erupted thursday after a stalled convoy was attacked by masked men using rocket propelled grenades.

The goofy thing about this story is why were they masked?,who were these people?,why would they think that wearing masks would make a difference?,were they afraid of being recognised?,why?.
???seems strange that they would worry about being recognised???a mask would be a dead give away that they were up to something and draw attention wherever they were???why wear a mask when attacking US troops???were they even arabs???did any of these masked attackers fall in the fight???will we ever know???Odd???

Force of habit I would assume. Look at Hamas and some of the other extremist groups. They are all quite fond of the Masked Martyr look. These were probably non-Iraqi Jihadists.

That's my guess anyway.

It could well have been isrealis, wouldn't be the first time they have attacked U.S troops. It is really unusual .Could have been some American special ops group trying to make a reason for america to send more toops....or maybe not.
