I like the new logo as well...it's like paying respect to the people who've lost their lives during 9/11 attack.

No... while I experienced the attack first hand, and knew people in the buildings... it's not a stab at sentimentality.

The lone, desolate figure looks to be asking why. It's a reminder of why we're all haning around here... asking why... as we should... every day.

William very well said, I think this is much better then most 9/11 tributes. Though they mean well a lot of times they come off as insincere. This is simple though, simple yet effective....nicely done. I almost wish I was wearing a hat right now so I could take it off as a show of respect.

The new logo is incredible. When I logged on and saw it I was shocked... but in a good way.

I like it. Is this just a one day thing, to commemorate the second anniverary of 9/11, or will it stay? And if it is temporary, can we expect similar things? Maybe a halloween thing, or christmas, kwanzaa maybe? It would add to the already intense (but not rich, or overpowering) flavor of this site.
