When you're trying to manage a deficit, the number one priority should be eliminating non-essential expenses.
Brownie is the quintessential example.
He's about as non-essential as you can get.
In fact, he's counter-essential.
But like I said, the gravy train rolls on. The taxpayers foot the bill for the administration's dalliances. One of these days everyone will stop
paying taxes all together, and by doing so, put a stop to this rampant abuse of power.
The same thing goes on in the corporate world. Guys get millions for their consulation, which amounts to a few appearances at corporate seminars, a
few golf games, some lunches with other peons.
It's ridiculous that people are actually okay with paying for this.
But they are, apparently, since there's been no open revolt.
