The Bottom Line...

This image is the most dramatic photograph I've seen from the whole Katrina disaster.

It sums up the whole bloody mess in one frame... A Human life was extinguished by a terrible storm. The people that were supposed to be there immediately after to take that hand and lift it from the devastation NEVER SHOWED...

The conspiracy may or may not be a horrid case of incompetence, it may or may not be a case of political vendetta held more valuable than Human life, it may or may not be blatant racism. We may never know...

What we do know is that hand is reaching out for help that NEVER CAME for it and the Human Being it was part of...

But i don't remember anyone saying that they were going to be rescued immediately...............It seems a lot of people in NO didn't use common sense about what to expect.
