Nice topic.

I've never tried communicating with trees. Is it the actual tree that communicates, or is it a spirit in the tree? Dryads and talking trees are things of myths, but like all things, they have a real origin. As usual though, we are conditioned to think that humans are the only species with any intelligence, and everything else is dumb. But this is so far from the truth.

I hate this plant once. An hour later it told me it wanted out of my body.

Generally, I have done this a few times myself. Whenever I was feeling fatigue while working in the backyard I would ask the same question and sit against it. After I was finished resting I would thank it and continue working.

Can you get it on tape? I don't believe you. Where is the trees voice box? They are made of wood how can they talk? Maybe someone in the park heard you talking to the tree and planted a walkie talkie. That would be funny.

i suggest you read the rest of the thread before replying any further.

kando i'll try to visualise the conversation more. thing is i'm quite used commanding things to do what they should or putting mild suggestions into someones mind. never tried a visualisation before.

everyone else, thanks for the links. read them all as well as a lot which i found myself. read about interesting experiences of other people and theories of scientists. a lot of food for thought with some techniques that are worth trying.

I thought the exact same thing as IXRAZOR about the walkie talkie. If you insist, I guess we're wrong. Sorry if I offended you about the first post I made, I just did it for ****s and giggles. What can I say, I was bored and this thread sounded ridiculous beyond words. Please don't take my and every other joke comment seriously, I don't take comments seriously as you've probably noticed by the fact that I ignored drinkinlikeafish"s words.
(which were ignorant fool, lol). Anywho, I have been hearing for a long time that if you gently talk to a plant or if you play non-heavy music, it will grow and prosper better. Just recenly some guy who owns a winery plays Mozart music for his grapes and it turns out that his wines are much better tasting than other wine maker's wines. I was just wondering, how can you communicate with a plant, telepathically or not, if it doesn't speak a human language. I don't know all that much about telepathisy but it's still strange to me how one could have an ability like this. It's well known that plants must have feelings or a mind of some sort, but scientists are apparently not making much discoveries. If you have any explanations to the "minds of plants", then please let us know.

I've sort of wondered the same thing. Everything does have an ancient origin and in most cases those "myths and legends" turned out to be more than just fiction.

I wasn't offended and ignored most of the "jokish" replies. What does bother me is people making replies without actually reading enough of what's being talked about/discussed.

When it comes to plants and trees I don't know much about them. I slept most of the time during Biology hehe. However currently I'm just trying things out in order figure out how this communication works.

For now it's just "reading" the energy patterns you see around all living things. From those energy patterns you can actually see if the plant "feels" comfortable, resentfull, happy or whatever. As I've explained in previous posts the energy of my plant grows with certain types of music and plummets down with another type of music. Also when I speak to it the energy pattern slightly changes. You can use the Beckster method to comfirm the alterations in energy. Hook the plant up to a seismograph and do stuff to the plant in order to record the changes.

Repeating a similar type of "conversation", which I've experienced twice, hasn't been repeated yet. So I can't say much about how the "mind" of a tree or plant works. I can't say a thing about it actually. My theory is that it is telepathic...but where do you focus on? With a human it's simple, you focus on its mind. What does a tree have to focus on? Its roots? The most logical to me seems to Astral Project and see the soul of the tree/plant and connect with that. Still a lot to try and figure out, but we'll get there eventually. Even if it takes a life time

ive only had one experience with tree communication, and it was quite awsome. i was actually put in my place by the forrest once. this is really weird -because I never thought I would share this, but basically I was mocking the forrest one day.

My friend and I were getting superinebriated out in the forrest, in this little enbankment. It was really a nice setting, and we were just goofing, yknow the typical stuff.

It was autumn, and the leaves were falling at a serious rate. Almost like thick snow. Not just one leaf here, and another there - but tonns and tonns of leaves, just slowly floating - really creating this fun atmosphere to just sit and be inebriated in. It wasnt particularly windy, and this was up on the side of a hill covered in trees. Just a nice happy breeze, and all these leaves. They were falling quite nicely.

So in my immature inebriated state, I thought I would make a joke;

I stood up and started talking to all the leaves falling, literally talking. I thought I would make a funny for my friend to laugh at, yknow - the inebriate talking to inanimate objects (its funny right?) -yeah, so I stand up and start calling out all these individual leaves. I would point to one and say,

"yep you too - c'mon down, its time to die"

"oh! that leaf over there... c'mon down"

"hey you. yeah, you - you get to die today too, c'mon down"

so basically, I was mocking these leaves telling them it was autumn, and that they could one by one start dropping to the forrest floor. We sat up there for a good minute before I decided to start my mockery, all the while these leaves just fluttered down. Not 30 seconds after I started mocking them, they stopped falling. Really, it was quite weird. Even in my laughter, I couldnt help but think maybe they were responding to me - as if to say,

"hey! we will come down when we damn well please! - stop mocking us!"

My joke wasnt funny anymore because there werent any leaves falling. I had to double take and was a bit confused. I passed it off as 'the breeze letting up' - and in a joking manner, I once more addressed the trees trying to bring a little closure to my joke. I said,

"OK OK, nevermind - come down at your will."

No more then 5 seconds later, the leaves started pouring down again. It was really quite the experience. I walked away from it with a bit more respect for the forrest. My friend passed it off as coincedence and being inebriated. I still think the trees heard me, and responded.
