What is Plumb Island? I tried to google it but the only thing I found is that there is a lighthouse and that it is not open to public

Yeah, apparently it's not just a lighthouse. Animal testing, with suspicious outbreaks involving West Nile, among other things. I'm suprised it's not mentioned more on these boards, because I don't know too much about it.
