For years I've been joking around about being a tree psychic. Turns out I was right!

I always wondered why I became so depressed whenever I heard chain saws cutting down trees. If I actually saw it happening, I'd be brought to tears. Then about five years ago my emotional response to tree butchering went right through the roof!

I came home from work one day to find the once glorious tree in my front yard hacked away to a tall stump. It was supposed to be only a trim of the low hanging branches.

I got out of my car and started screaming at the tree trimmers. They were totally amused by my anger and laughed openly. I briefly contemplated on how to wipe the smirks of their face. Had I owned a gun, I do believe I would have done just that!

After I went inside the house, I was hit full force with wave after wave of the tree's unbridled terror. The emotion I sensed became so overwhelming, I began crying hysterically. Within minutes I feared a nervous breakdown, if I didn't flee the premises immediately. Trembling uncontrollable, I ran to my car and sped away until I could no longer feel the tree's energy. Never in my life had I even come close to feeling what I felt that day for that tree. What was wrong with me?

A few months ago, I read a book called "How psychic are you?" I found out this type of empathy, is a rare psychic gift called clairsentience! ( All living plants generate energy which can be comprehended as their guardian spirits. But only those with this exceptional gift of perception can sense their infinitely fragile, subtle energies.)

So........ I'm not a freak after all! Do you or anyone you know have this ability too?

Yeah, I kinda have the same thing going on. Maybe I have some sort of connection with hopps and barely. Who knows, strange thing is, I'll have beer in my fridge. I'll have 1 beer and then I swear I hear another beer calling to me, saying hey man I'm cold in here, let me take a nap in your warm belly. So being a caring person I do what I can for the little fellas.

Ok, tree-charmer, give us ONE reason to let this thread continue....

What is the point?

I'm just saying that considering the large non-response.. What is your main point? What can we all learn from this?

Help us here...

Never heard of such an emotional connection toward nature, Im glad you found out and reported it to us. Why would the trimmers cut the tree off?

I know what you mean, I try to respect nature and connect and communicate with it. It seems it comes back if your kind, everything is dependant upon nature in the long and short affter all.

Keep reading all kinds of books that have to do with energy, I practice healing and Buddhism, it helps to keep me awake and comprehendant.

A story my close friend had recently with an accupresure (Not Accupuncture) friend, who gave him a massage, during the massage he passed out or drowned out rapidly. Allso visions followed durring the treatment, he sah thunderstorms in the distance, and the day affter he fell to sleep imediatly with a book in his face.

The Accupresure masagist furst eperianced her ambition affter getting the same type of massage, she cryed unexpectedly for about half an our and felt pure and at peace. And since. Im not sure if it was accupresure though.

Keep listening, Im glad for you.

Dude, that trees and beers be alive, and if you drink enough they'll speak to you and that they are living souls as well and that we are all one mind one source with mother earth.

So what I think poster is trying to say, is don't kill the trees unless they ask for it, cause sometimes they mouth off.

What's the time limit on threads that get no responses?

The only response came after I noticed it (b/c of a complaint).

My question was, what is the point of this post?

So far, there has been no legit response to that question.

This sounds like a form of empathy. The test of whether it's "psychic" or not would be if you feel these things without having any indication of a plant's suffering beforehand.

If not, you may be transferring emotional reactions, or perhaps being reminded of a traumatic event.

In other words, you may not necessarily be a "tree psychic", but experiencing emotions triggered by the event.

Do you find yourself feeling empathy toward other things?

If they don't break the T&C and are not duplicates, there is no time limit. I hope this answers all questions and the topic can be addressed.

A moderator has asked 2 times now to please confine discussion to the topic at hand. This is now the THIRD time and the first and last request I will make on this matter.

If you do not wish to discuss the posted topic there are numerous others that may be of interest to you

No not at all the type of experience you have described is similar to what we learned in desert survival training in Boy Scouts. The class was taught in the middle of the desert by this old Navajo indian who often spoke of the energy that living things gave off. When he hunted it was almost as if he was actually seeing things through the animas eyes as if he had made a connection. He also applied this to plants as well.

I beleive that the Abogionies in Australia also have a similar concept/belief.

As far as I know, there isn't one.

Speaking as someone who has honestly posted some things to this forum that other people might consider "crazy", I request that my fellow members be sensitive to the nature and purpose of a forum dedicated to paranormal studies.

Humor isn't a bad thing, but I must say that regardless of the subject, it is disappointing to see threads like these driven off topic.

If you're not interested in "tree psychics" or think this is some kind of joke, fear not: there are thousands and thousands of other threads just waiting to be read.

Irnoically enough, I was drawn here by the hullabaloo, but am genuinely interested in the topic.

dollmonster, I am truly sorry about the way things have gone in this thread. If you're not utterly turned off by all this, I hope you will be willing to discuss it.

Maybe you're a genuine "tree psychic", maybe not, but I pray you won't be reluctant to talk about it in a forum where we are supposed to feel free to do so.

There's my two cents, and I agree. Let's talk empathy!

Please forgive me for my last post, it contained explicit floccinaucinihilipilification. The honorificabilitudinitatibus I feel for the founder of this thread; Dollmaster, as s/he has such compasion and remorce for nature, but I wonder what s/he thinks about ELF? (Earth Liberation Front) as well as other members.

that's cool dollmonster, while I'm not a tree pyschic, I do talk to my plants and I'm pretty sure they are listening to me and communicating back by growing nice and pretty for me.

Surrealist, I think any group that resorts to violence to get their message across is wrong. ELF and ALF takes it too far, while their cause might have started out positive and on the right track, their methods hurt them more than help than.

I agree, destruction is not creating, and allthough sometimes you must go back a step in order to move foreward, they dont stop going back. The long words are just out of pure innu, but that is my fault as I cant seem to make any friends or were ear plugs.

psychic
(adjective) 1 : of or relating to the psyche : 2 : lying outside the sphere of physical science or knowledge : 3 : sensitive to nonphysical or supernatural forces and influences : marked by extraordinary or mysterious sensitivity, perception, or understanding

The term psychic is a generalization of all paranormal abilities, not just precognitive.

Don't worry about me Majic. I'm convinced what I've experienced is a form of empathy called clairsentience. I couldn't care less about the opinions of the "narrow minded." No joke!

By the way, I've seen UFO's, ghosts and angels too.

Hi Dollmonster,

Thank you for sharing your story with us.
I have never had an experience like yours, although I have gotten an almost giddy feeling of love when I am out and about in nature. The feeling seems to surround me, as if it is coming from everywhere and everything. It sounds silly, but at times it makes me feel like dancing.
Anyway, I found a link for you to explore: www.crystalinks.com... (There are many other items of interest on the site that you might enjoy.) I also found this site that tells a story about the "Holy Trees of the Yakut people" www.highlands.vic.edu.au...

If you were interested, you might gain a bit more insight by reading some information about Native American beliefs on nature spirits, as well as the Celtic and Druidic beliefs on nature spirits. I hope this helps you out some.
