UK Appeals To Condoleeza Rice

The UK foreign Sec. has appealed to Condoleeza Rice to control John Bolton ahead of the UN Summit this week.

If this summit decends into chaos it would put even more domestic pressure from congress upon the president, afterall congress was bypassed when Bolton was appointed to the UN. Britain and USA do have a special relationship, and for Jack Straw to take this approach means the summit may be in serious trouble, perhaps not helped by the absence of Cherac following his stint in hospital.

Bolton was put in the job to creat a storm, and i think his appointment was well placed by Bush in order to simply get his own way.
