It seems the 244 is an upgraded 144, "concordski"!

This is what we need, supersonic passenger flights as an option again!

Shame that article is wrong, it wasn't shelved in 1973, it carried on doing mainly cargo and local flights within the USSR for a while.

Nice to see someone is working on supersonic travel for the masses. Cut down flight times soon hopefully! Yay! I want a passenger version of the 160 though.

I too would love a new sst!!! however that article was written before the paris aircrash and before concorde lost its airworthiness, I dont believe that anyone has considered a large capacity sst since then.
