JAPAN is bracing for another hit by the powerful typhoon that has battered the southern island of Kyushu and parts of South Korea, killing at least 10 people with several more missing.

Is this normal at this time of the year for Typhoons ??

Yep. Sounds worse than it is though (in kilometers)....in mph, the storm would currently be a tropical storm in the West... It was nasty when it hit Korea though.....(about a Cat 4 hurricane in strength then I believe)...
