Calif. Lawmakers Pass Gay Marriage Bill

The United States is just going through growing pains, we are a young country. The same arguments were presented, quoting the Bible, normality, and corrupted morals, when whites and blacks first tried to get married. We need this discussion in order to move forward as a country. The sad part is to see such equality debated on such a progressive discussion board as ATS. Then again, there are people on ATS who believe that blacks and whites shouldn't marry. So I guess no matter where you go, somebody, somewhere, isn't going to like it.
