If you want a closer view, look at the GOES storm floater 1. Visible and IR images are the best, Dvorak IR is brutal on my eyes.

Edit: Some good news. The current forecast models show this one heading north and staying out to sea.

Maria is what is termed a "fish" as in no threat to land and track is forecasted to go out to sea. Plus it's going into cooler waters so her days are numbered.

The Bahamas are being monitored for the possibility of tropical cyclone formation. There is a trough of low pressure in the area that has been producing strong storms over Florida and off shore waters. While this area sits over warm sea surface temperatures or (SST's), the possibility of a tropical cyclone forming increases. sat view here
