I'm just a broke college student. But I'd love to help. Is there anything that we broke folk can do?

Edited to add: I don't have any can foods or old clothes to donate. If I did a definately would though.

Start a clothing and food drive, with all the college students putting an effort into it, you could give a lot more.

Click the link on my sig.
I've sent the message to 20 hotel chains..so far..
Only one response though..
All it requires is internet connection, and e-mail..
I think we need to keep hammering on them..

People who escaped the hurricane, will some be coming home to NOTHING.
Maybe we can help this way..

Hey thanks for the link. That got me thinking. I have a ton of miles on my credit cards, that I think some hotels would accept them for free night or too - I have to double check. If I use them to put up at least one family, that'll make me happy.

Thats the spirit!
If it works for you, let us know.

A night or two, times 100 or even a thousand, could make a huge difference..

Start a drive on your campus to collect $1 donations and/or a bottle of water. Then take whatever you get no matter what size to any relief agency Salvation Army, Red Cross, etc.

Dont take it to Red Cross, they are con artists.. I have heard that they kept something like 3 billion dollars from the 9/11 fund rasing.
www.infowars.com...

I would say dont collect money but collect supplies.. Clothes, Water, Water Filters, canned food, and so on.. Then give it to A LOCAL CHURCH so you know where its going.
