Bush was all too willing to use �migr�s' lies

Oops. There are no weapons of mass destruction after all. That's the emerging consensus of the second team of weapons sleuths commanded by the U.S. in Iraq, as reported last week in the Los Angeles Times. The 1,400-member Iraq Survey Group found what the first wave of U.S. military experts and the United Nations inspectors before them discovered � nada.

Oh yeah, let's blame the Iraqi defectors so Bush can get off of the hook. Well, it wasn't defectors who came up with the whopper that photographs of balloon inflator trailers were mobile biological weapons labs. That lie was stamped "made in the USA".
Anyone who now doubts that this guy was lying is seriously disturbed.

I'm pretty sure even the most diehard Republicans have moved on from defending the truth of this administration's statements of ready-to-mobilize WMDs, at least two months ago.

Weapons inspections have proceeded exhaustively for almost a full year, no stone unturned.

The issue is why do people continue to defend this administration for its crock of lies that killed 37,000 civilians and over 300 US military to date.
