I saw a news story on 60 minutes about IIT (India Institute of Technology). That was one good school, at least the way they presented it. One interviewed student whose grades weren't good enough to go to IIT, got into Oxford as his second choice. Only thing is, IIT is focused solely on engineering and technical science; they don't teach anything else.
