That is one of my top ten favorite movies and it is for alot of people. I didn't like it when I was a teen or in my early 20's, but since I watched
it like four times. It's pretty good.
What is distrubing about it is, a 17 year old boy and a 70 year old woman, dating and then "consemate" their relationship. I love the whole late
60's hippy-esq the film gets across. The Cat Stevens soundtrack is groovy.
Favorite song from the movie "If you want to sing out, sing out"
For you younger folks.. The movie is about a Ultra-rich woman and her only son that is suicide and fakes his own death. He is sent to counseling,
Harold eventually meets Maude at a funeral. Maude is alive with life as she knocks on death's door. They do a bunch of legal things together, they
get married, she commits suicide. Harold finds a reason to live out of the life she had.
