Retire from the internet. Nothing seems to be working anymore. I pay 49.95 a month for supposed HIGH SPEED internet from comcast and I might as well be on dial up.

Can you get SBC DSL where you live? I use them it's awesome... Download speeds at 300+/sec etc...

I used that too for a couple of days and they seemed to have blocked my nic on my computer and when I called they said I had to get an "approved" nic from the sbc store for another 50 bucks. NO way am I paying for that.

do a speed test, and follow their suggestions on how you can tweek your settings to help boost speed. it could be some of your settings that are causing things to slow down.
