im sorry puter-illiterate person here..need help pls

can someone here pls give me a hand pls..
i have got a prob with puter , my daughter uses it to go on msn and other teenager type sites, she seems to download a lot of rubbish.
i have spywear doctor which i run everytime she comes off and virus chek, although i have nothing on my pages she seem to have a virus of some sort on her page (when we log into it we have diff accounts).
i though as i was admin when i run a check it will search the whole puter ? is this not so?
how can i protect the puter as a whole thing rather than diff accounts.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Admin accounts do not have God rights to the system.
Try running your scan using the system account.

Use your admin rights to remove her password and enter her user group!

Wipe everything that you dont like the look of and tell her not to do it again!
