Angel's and Number of Wings?

I remember reading a while ago that different angels had different numbers of wings and that the number of wing they had represented how high in the higherachy of heaven they were.

I think they could have anywhere between 2-12 wings? (Might have been 10) and that only 1 angel had the highest number of wings and that was meant to be Lucifer.

I was wondering where this comes from though and if there are any good images to show what they looked like?

angels traditionally dont have winge. Only the messengers did. It wasnt untillthe fourth centuary that angels were "given" wings. It went along with the art of the times. Just like in roman times they were drawn wearing togas. I think that what you read was more of less just someone trying to make people believe that they knew something no one else did. And probably fabricated it from their oun imagination.
