Dr Kelly's Article on Iraq WMD Threat

If Dr kelly did commit suicide, it looks like it could have had more to do with the lack of evidence uncovered about Iraq's WMD threat. Kelly played down the threat of Saddam's stockpiles while insisting that they existed in small amounts. Kelly believed that it was not what Iraq possesed currently but what it may accumulate in the future.

"Although the current threat presented by Iraq militarily is modest, both in terms of conventional and unconventional weapons, it has never given up its intent to develop and stockpile such weapons for both military and terrorist use.

Today Iraq shows superficial co-operation with the inspectorates...."
