Terror link to West Nile?

While some Americans are still suspicious about claims that Saddam Hussein had an active chemical and biological weapons program, others believe he unleashed that program on the U.S. in the form of West Nile Virus � now spreading across the U.S. faster than ever.

Is it possible one of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction has actually been deployed against us already?

I dont think so asala.
I have read the article you presented and one from newsmax and a few others but they all fail or lack any background research into the 'real' origins of the West Nile Virus.
But...you know, we all will believe what we wish.

Yeah, WMD use usually reveals its self by HUNDREDS / THOUSANDS nearly simultanious deahts..

West Nile Virus has been pretty active in the US for a few years now, so no, doubtful its terrorism. I think it started hitting back in 96 or 97, in New York and the east coast.

Its hardly anything to be overley concerned about, much like SARS, its main victims are people with weak immune systems. The FLU and meningitis, as well as hepetitis, kill like hundreds times more people every year than WNV and SARS combined.

But hey in this world anythings possible...

I wonder how long though, it will be before someone does start to use insects as a weapon
