Area 51 and its link to GTA San andreas.

on the third island there is a desert base nearby to your own airstrip (if you've aquired it). however, it's more of a military institute, as when you fly over not only are you shot at by missiles, but fighter jets come after you too.
there is also a similar occurance if you fly over a navy-type ship near the airport on the second island. hence, you are fired at and fighter jets come after you. also the piece of land you are on about has a fence running all the way around, area 51 has no fences. area 51 is also the size of switzerland, and that piece of land on gta has a few buildings in.

area 51 and gta connection? nope, most certainly not. someone's paranoid thoughts...more likely.

there is no real connection but it is just the designers sence of humor
