Stupid pop ups on my nerves!

i keep on getting these stupid pop ups saying windows needs a system scan or something and to click on some link...it drives me crazy! i reformated my system went to one site and it was back...how do i get rid of them? any one know any good pop up blocker programs?

use firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Or you can download and install any of the various pop up ad blockers like what is offered by Microsoft, Yahoo or google.

Just get a decent free pop-up blocker.
