Well here's a few groups that have formed recently on both sides of the spectrum.

I know early this year George Soros formed an organization with 70 other millionaires and billionaires called "The Phoenix Group". From what I understand this groups main goal is to take control of the white house. I have yet to find any info on the web about it yet besides this. They have no site yet so I'm guessing everything is pretty low key right now besides the meeting.

On the other side of the fence, an organization that has been around since 1979 ; GOPAC, has started fundraising for something they call "The Permanent Majority Project". Their bottom line function is that no matter who is in the White House, they will be able to mandate their GOP agenda. Current Chairman J.C. Watts is spear-heading this project.

If anyone has any more in depth information about either one of these organizations please make them availiable in this thread. I have no ties to either party, and from the looks of things it's just the Same Old $hit. Two parties fighting for COMPLETE control of the Senate, House ect. ect...
It frightens me to think of either party in complete control.

These are the groups that i know of, and I know that they are currently trying to raise money for their "causes". Just trying to get some ideas from the ATS and PTS communities.

That's wild, I was just talking about J.C. Watts possibly being run for the White House in 2008. What would cut Hillary off at the knees more than the first black man in US history running?

Thanx for tipping us off on that.

Thats what I was thinking too......

I can already see the headlines: "Hillary Vs. J.C. '08". If we all thought the last election bitterly divided the nation, this will be the election that divides us all (if we allow them to). Now they will throw in two more huge variables in peoples views, Race and Gender.

How many people will vote for Hillary bc they don't want an African American President, and how many will vote for Watts bc they don't want a woman President. It will be a struggle for many people to choose based soley on those two ideas above, now throw in policy views, and the fact that they are pretty much on opposite sides of the spectrum.

Should be a good show

How about the competition with the Carlyle group.

After all running the White house mean big profits for some of these groups.

The defense spending alone is a secure market for them, and lets not forget all they have to do when in power is to declare a couple more wars around the world to keep the profits coming.

oh absolutely!

It's no longer the "war on terrorism" btw.....

It's now the "struggle against extremism"
great........
Now our country goes to war with Mountain Dew! what the hell

Just another piece of the puzzle falling into place. The idea of extremism is all based on point of view.

That's funny!

Wtf is up with that, anyway?! I guess the polling is showing that the American people are more and more turned off by the very mention of War on Terror...

Not good electoral strategery.. much shift rhetorical gears.

I'm sure it's an issue with military recruiting numbers. It's a known fact that around 2/3 of enlisted soldiers are there because of financial support. I'm sure it would sound good to me growing up in a true slum. Income each month just for serving.

That and the fact that a "struggle" opposed to a "war" sounds better, seeing as a "struggle" is something you can live with. A "war" is something that eventually has to come to an end....

In my outlook, war is war. And it needs to have an end-strategy. To these elites that run things, though, war is the natural state and they feed off it like the vampires they are. Beware the military industrial complex....

I don't give a rat's A double S what they call it.. War is war, as I said before.

These prix, like the Nazis that came before them, actually believe that just because they say something OVER AND OVER AND OVER again people will begin to believe it. Look at 9-11, that is so the case. Just b/c something is said by the mainstream media, people believe it.. until they do their own investigating, anyway.

The truth is the truth, the ministry of propanda's best work doesn't work on me.

I refer back to the first post in this thread and the author's request, quoted above.

We seem to have drifted away from the topics.
We need to drift back.

I agree....

Both of these groups have been formed in the last 6 months. I'm sure there isn't much info on either "group" besides what i've brought to the table. I will continue to search the net for news clips containing any new information.

A little more insight into my credentials; I'm currently employed through a company that raises money for a certain "group". So the script that they have us read over the phone is constanly changing, updating if you will.....

I will keep my eye on both groups in the upcoming months, I'm sure I will have updates soon. People love J.C. Watts, so in turn money is pouring in Republican coffers. In the same sense, people that I speak with HATE George Soros. So it's hard to say who will reach their goal first, seeing as "The Phoenix Group" is funded by other millionaires, and the "PMP" is currently seeking funds funds from the public.
