So in Vietnam we are looking at a 30% fatality rate. I would love to get data on the demographics of thiose infected / died, and what treatment was provided if any. Thanks for the updates

Hey Fred...

Lots of things happening again. Seems that H5N1 has two distinct variants in Vietnam since this spring. The Northern isolate is less virulent but has shown more H2H within family clusters at a 20% case fatality rate while the southern isolate is being transmitted only by direct contact with chickens (farming/slaughtering/eating) at a case fatality rate of 100%.

The Qinghai variant is spreading throughout Russia and neighboring countries, including Mongolia via migrating waterfowl. Keep watch on these migration routes, as they are the main vectors (the birds) right now.

We are seeing many cases of "unknown" viral outbreaks along the path of these flyways....Soon these waterfowl will enter eastern Europe, the Indian subcontinent area and finally the Northern America's...remember watch out for "unusual" outbreaks along these flyways...H5N1 likes to present a different face everywhere it goes.

PS: About those "new" vaccines that the PTB are pinning their hopes on? Ever heard of the term "busy work?". Nuff said.
