Of course my bet is that it will all be highly regulated and slowed down in the name of National (and International) Security.

Wow, way to cover a lot of territory - disclosure, space exploration, beaurocracy, (inter)national security, and politics.

Hmm, I missed the part where a private space company meant that global domination would fail.

At any rate, I don't think this will be the end all for the cover-up. If there's something to hide, it will be taken care of. Possibly the same thing that would happen when a new leader gets sworn in - he/she has to be briefed.

Besides, they're more interested in opening up space than determining UFOs.
