underwater jet??

I just saw this video today...not sure if it's been disscussed here already, but this is pretty amazing Underwater launching jet

It looks like it could be an F-22 Raptor, not sure. But does anyone have any information on this?

Hmm, I believe there's a thread about this, from a long while back. I think it was just a cruise missile launch, altered so a picture of an F-15 was in place.

Yah Xar Ke Zeth hit the nail on the head its the testing of a cruise missile that has been altered to put a F-15 where the missile should be.

No, its a test of a ICBM, the cruise missile doesnt hang there like that before the main motor kicks in, its much faster with a cruise missile. I posted a link to the origional unedited video in the last thread this popped up in.

Does anyone remember the old British sci-fi series UFO. They had a submarine that had a jet on the nose that launched from under the water using a rocket.

You mean SKYDIVER 1.

I have the whole UFO series on DVD. They had to tilt the whole submarine to launch it.
