Most of the blocking of internet traffic they do is limit acces to US websites like Whitehouse.gov for foreign IP's.
During the 2004 elections, nearly all GOV sites were blocked and Bush's website was blocked.

Keep this on topic.
ludahai, why do you refuse to answer my questions? Would you mind taking the time to do this?
How do you know your Government doesn't block you from seeing a website? If they do, you can't see it and will only know if you have been shown every site in relation to Taiwan - which I doubt.

I have never had any trouble at all accessing any and all websites I try to access from China. They are the same sites I accessed while I was living there, and a few that didn't exist at that time. I repeat, I have NEVER had problems accessing websites from China while in Taiwan. While I lived in China, I had trouble accessing websites from a number of countries, but the biggest problem was with Chinese language news sites in Taiwan. My friends still in China continue to report to me that this is a major problem, and it seems worse now that when I was there because the Internet is far more widespread now than it was when I lived there six years ago.
