Atta's Father Praises London Bombs (moved from ATSNN)

Well; at least now we have a better idea of how Mohamed Atta's views were formed; at least in part.



The calling of a "religious war" and attempting to charge CNN $5,000 for a second interview so than he can fund another London-sized attack seems to be par-for-the-course for many in Islamic countries as this guy hardly stands alone in his beliefs.

While very little can be done to parents in Arab nations who teach their children these beliefs; I believe this highlights the problems that need to be dealt with directly in Western nations regarding madrassas and the Imams who teach students of those schools.

isn't this the same guy, who said (following 9-11) that his family loved america, and the opporunities that it had afforded his son...
and that he felt there was no way in the world that his son would do such a thing... he also had recently talked with his son, and said that there were future plans to visit, and that his son would never have promised he would come home to visit, if he was a suicide bomber...

apparently his attitude has changed severly in the last few years...

The introductory paragraph is a little small, increase it and I'll vote for this submission.

Atta's father does not speak for the majority of muslims. Treat his words proportionately i.e. the rantings of a single man with no political or religious authority.

I wonder what you would expect a source like this to say?

The story does not compute.

A key question that would be asked by the interviewer quoted by CNN would be about his current belief of Mohammed Atta's whereabouts. This is the only thing that would make his persona interesting.

It is claimed that the father said he heard from Mohammed Atta the day after 9/11 and thereafter. It is claimed that the father said his son would not be engaged in terrorist activity and that this was a case of identity theft.

Duplicity is a character feature of many people who see no reason for integrity. You can meet such people everywhere. But in this case the story simply does not compute. Expect some retractions.

Also of note, the passport that Atta had reported stolen 2 years earlier supposedly survived the impact and was found near ground Zero (I will try to find a link for that). Also, when he was in flight school, aparently an Instructur heard he was fluent in German and tried to strike up a conversation with Atta, but "Atta" did not understand him.

Atta seems to be an all to convient charecter of this 911 story. Couple that with the current and ex Mossad agents filming the Towers with comercial grade film equipment (they worked for a moving company who's owner fled back to Isreal BTW) and we have quite a few unanswered questions.

Is this more COINTEPRO styled poo poo? Face it 911 and London were inside jobs for more war money and Hegelian problem-reaction-solution destruction of civil liberties. Mr. Atta is obviously part of this program to defame Islam, or he is a foolish copy cat of propaganda designed to do so.

Atta had attended International Officers School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Ala

So what makes anyone think what you read in mainstream publications, mostly any editorial opinion is on the level, or that Mr. Atta Sr. is not now too on the counterintelligence payroll implementing P2OG?
