The new drug, AK602 is able to keep the aids virus from entering human cells, it has been tested on over 40 aids patients with positive results. The
drug itself does not lose effectiveness like other aids medications, because it affects the cells rather than the virus itself.

Well, its not a cure for aids per se, but this is very very promising, kudos (how fitting) to japan for coming up with this.
