Ancient Aryan civilization

I just read this article about a 4,000 year old Ancient Aryan civilization in Russia, some features mentioned in the article include:

1. Irrigation
   
2. Water Reservoir
   
3. Temple
   
4. Astronomic Observatory
   
5. Gigantic Concentric Circles
   
6. Central Square
   
7. Astronomical Orientation
   

The houses was also advanced for the age:

1. Timbered floorings
   
2. Houses themselves were imbued with fireproof substance
   
3. Well
   
4. Food Storage
   
5. Oven with trenches to supply it chilled air, and with bronze melting capebilities

i was interested because of this sentence

'Scientists were shocked to find out that Arkaim
was the same age as Egypt and Babylon,

because this high-tech community in a valley
(? copper-bronze age equivelent to SiliconValley today ?)

sorta sprang up....independent of the 'superpowers of the day'

or were these people considered mythic gods and tales/myths were
told of that far-off city-kingdom of advanced god-like-peoples???
the tales & myths got all distorted over time and...viola!

things like Atlantas & Mu & Wallhalla, take your pick...
maybe even aliens from the heavens
looks like a research area for science & anthropoligists

Even before that, the kingdom of Crete before the Greeks came out of their Dark Ages, had indoor plumbing...Nothing like that again in history until about 200 years ago. The Cretes did not have walled cities, like other cities around the Mediterranean did: As a civilization existing soley on an island, their main defense was a superb navy. They were the major sea-power of their time.

Yes, I speak of the Crete that shows up in Greek myths best known for the Palace of Knossos, home of the Minotaur's Maze. However, what I mentioned in the first paragraph is archeological & historical fact.
